Autumn foliage, or ruska as we call it in Finland, is dotting the forests with yellows, oranges and reds this month. While birches are glowing with a tint of warm gold, aspens and and rowans show an almost neon looking bright red. It is not only the trees that change clothes though, also the undergrowth gets a new hue when waiting for a snow cover. It is as if the nature wants to explode with colour before the monochrome tones of winter return. Blueberry leaves are some of the most beautiful examples, starting off with shocking pink and maturing into a deep purplish red. It is the perfect time to get some natural colour-therapy, see you in the forest!
