Once you've adopted a tree, you are welcome to visit and spend time with your hugging tree anytime you like.
The Halipuu forest is located 10 kilometers north of Levi, Finland's best known skiing and activity resort. Levi offers accommodation for all tastes, ranging from luxury hotels through rustic, traditional huts to glass igloos on top of a fell.
Next to the Halipuu forest is the Pallas Yllastunturi National Park. There, you can trek from hilltop to hilltop through arctic fells along Finland's first hiking trail. You can enjoy hiking or skiing in the wilds, yet still find welcoming lodgings for comfortable overnight stays in historic Lappish villages. This part of Lapland has the cleanest air in all of Europe.
Halipuu forest is simple to reach with direct flights available from Helsinki. The closest airport, Kittilä (KTT), is a mere 15 minute drive from the Levi resort. For more information, visit the Levi Travel -site.
While you can visit your tree independently, we recommend that you contact us for safe, guided tours. We would not want you to get lost in the forest!
